IDL Series 2
Content creation is one module in Interactive Digital Learning (IDL) Series 2 to facilitate online and offline learning. The module exposes tools for creating learning objects for teaching and learning. The module will guide participants in using a specific tool to enhance learning. At the end of the module, the participant expected to create their teaching content using the tools used in the module.
IDL Series 2
Assessment tools are methods used by the educators to evaluate, measure, and document the academic readiness, learning progress, skill acquisition, or educational needs of students. Various online assessment tools that have been used widely by educators, are covered in this course namely Moodle, Socrative, Mentimeter, Quizizz, Google Forms, and Kahoot!.
IDL Series 2
Gamification is the process of incorporating game features into contexts that are not games. Gamification has been employed extensively by businesses in corporate apps, online forums, and more. Gamification's objective is to enlist and inspire gamers to work toward organisational objectives. In order to assist players effectively serve the greater community, these goals are designed to be aligned with company goals and values.
IDL Series 2
This course is designed for trainers and lecturers to carry out the process of creating learning content online using a cloud-based authoring tool. Several concepts related to the Learning Management System (LMS), LMS functions, Cloud-based Authoring Tools, commercial systems such as Microsoft Team, open source such as Moodle, and free E-learning Authoring Tools such as H5P are discussed. The primary focus of this course is to demonstrate familiarity with the fundamental concepts of LMS and cloud-based authoring tools, and then to design a cloud-based authoring tools system that is capable of achieving blended learning components.
IDL Series 2
Open Educational Resources (OER) are learning, teaching and research materials in any format and medium that reside in the public domain or are under copyright that have been released under an open license, that permit no-cost access, re-use, re-purpose, adaptation and redistribution by others. OER are digital materials that can be re-used for teaching, learning, research, and more. They are made available free through open licenses, which allow uses of the materials that would not be easily permitted under copyright alone.
IDL Series 2
Interactive Virtual Presentation is part of Interactive Digital Learning (IDL) Series 2 to accomodate the needs of engaging audience in a virtual platform for teaching and learning. Students will be able (i) to identify elements of engagement for virtual presentation, (ii) to describe available interactive virtual presentation tools, and (iii) to perform simple interactive virtual presentation.
